  • When was the panel created?
  • Tumi customers were first invited to join the Tumi Customer Advisory Panel in October and November 2009.
  • How many Tumi customers are on the panel?
  • More than 15,000 Tumi customers have joined the panel as of December 2009.
  • Why did Tumi create this panel?
  • Customer feedback is of great importance to Tumi. The Tumi Customer Advisory Panel was created to give Tumi customers an opportunity to give Tumi feedback about new and existing products, Tumi stores, and online resources. It also gives Tumi customers a place to connect with other Tumi owners, to share travel stories, comment on new products, and get special offers.
  • How often will I be contacted?
  • You will be contacted for surveys that we think will be of interest to you, based on your profile. Most often, you will be asked to complete an online survey, although from time to time we may also invite you to participate in research that takes place over the phone, in-person, or via an online bulletin board. Individual panelists will be asked to complete surveys no more than 5-6 times a year.
  • Who is Northstar Research Partners?
  • In order to ensure that all information collected from panelists is kept strictly confidential, Tumi engaged Northstar Research Partners, a global market research firm, to manage the panel and survey panelists. You can learn more about the firm at www.nsresearch.com.
  • How does the Tumi Points system work?
  • Every time you participate in a panel survey, you will earn a certain number of Tumi Points, based on the length or complexity of the survey you complete. Click on the "Tumi Points" tab on the website to see how many points you have earned and find out how to redeem them.
  • How do I contact TUMI?
  • You have several options for contacting TUMI. If you have a question about site functionality or have a technical issue, you can reach the site administrator by emailing tavita@tumiadvisorypanel.com. If you are having a problem with rewards redemption or have a product-related question, you can email mmiskovsky@tumi.com. Additionally, you may click the “Support” button on the right side of the screen to send us a support request. If you have any support requests that are not TUMI Advisory Panel related, you may call the TUMI corporate office at 908-756-4400.
